Shell timeshare owners can exchange their ownerships internally through the brand's system of affiliated properties.
Shell Owners Club
With the purchase of a Shell Owners Club membership, owners receive points, and can use those points to book a stay at any resort within their club. Owners Clubs include Americana, Hawaii, Pacific, and West. After the priority reservation window period (365 to 277 days prior to arrival), SVC Owners Club members are eligible to exchange their points for a stay anywhere in the greater Shell Vacations resort network. However, Shell weeks members purchase a fixed or floating week ownership at one Shell resort—chosen as their Home Resort—and therefore only have access to that specific resort with their ownership.
External Exchange
Shell Vacations Club owners also have the option to look outside the SVC system of resorts to facilitate timeshare exchanges all over the world.
Shell Owners Club
Shell Owners Club members have the ability to exchange their Shell timeshare for any resort within the Interval International exchange network. With II, Owners Club members can exchange their timeshare at more than 2,900 resorts in over 80 countries. Shell weeks owners also have the option to exchange their fixed or floating week for somewhere within the Interval International network. However, some Shell weeks owners have another added benefit.
