The newest addition to the Disney Vacation Club will arrive on July 17th. The Disney Copper Creek Villas & Cabins, a new group of luxury villas and standalone units within Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, will begin general sales on April 5th and open their doors this summer. The long-awaited addition will continue the Wilderness Lodge’s theme of embracing the spirit of the Pacific Northwest, with an outdoors-themed design and furnishings.

Staying at Disney Copper Creek

The Copper Creek Villas and Cabins will incorporate 210 new units at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and will be the second lodging addition to that property. 184 new villas will take the shape of deluxe studio units as well as more spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites that can sleep up to 12 guests. The villas will feature the same rustic-inspired furniture and design elements that currently adorn the rest of the Wilderness Lodge, offering guests and timeshare owners an immersive vacation experience. Common in-unit amenities will include full kitchens, private balconies, and more.

Also planned to open are the Copper Creek Cabins, which will feature 26 standalone waterfront units along Bay Lake. The cabins will contain two bedrooms and bathrooms, with spacious living and dining areas. Guests will find the cabins to provide a truly unique stay, with floor-to-ceiling windows exposing great views of the lake, and an incredibly lavish stone hearth fireplace adorning the living area. The cabins even boast individual private porches and hot tubs.

Other New Features at the Wilderness Lodge

The Disney Copper Creek Villas & Cabins aren’t the only new additions hitting the Wilderness Lodge resort. Recently opened, the Geyser Point Bar & Grill serves up fresh cuisine inspired by the Pacific Northwest, while the already-existing Roaring Fork restaurant is undergoing renovations to provide a new and distinct dining experience. Also planned to open this summer, the Boulder Ridge Cove pool will feature shaded poolside cabanas, a zero entry swimming pool, and whirlpool spas for guests to enjoy.
