Club Med To Open First Candian Ski Resort in December 2021

Though the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the travel and vacationing industry, renowned vacationing brand Club Med has been able to continue forward with impressive growth throughout 2020 and into 2021. The company has just announced its latest venture into the beautiful Québec ski area of Le Massif de Charlevoix with its debut Canadian resort: Club Med Québec Charlevoix.

Though Club Med is celebrated often for its tropical resort properties, it is not the brand’s first time working in colder climates. Following the lead of their collection of successful snow-centered properties in the Swiss Alps and Asia, Club Med Québec Charlevoix will offer its guests incredible year-round experiences, including some of the best winter sport conditions in the world.

This four-season, all-inclusive ski resort is on track to open its doors to its first guests on December 3, 2021.

Though all of the details of the property have not been released, Club Med has been sure to release a few that guests will appreciate as they plan their first vacations to this property.

To begin, guests will be greeted with Club Med’s unique signature style. Rooms will boast of breathtaking river and mountain views, balconies, vibrant color palettes, and modern furniture. The resort will also feature a main, buffet-style restaurant, multiple dining areas, a large local market, a central lounge and bar area, an intimate, gourmet restaurant, and more amazing views of the property’s surroundings. Additionally, Guests will have the ability to participate in a number of incredible outdoor activities, especially during the winter season. Skiing, snowboarding, luging, and snowshoeing are just the tip of the iceberg—literally! With its doors open all year round, visitors will also have time to take in other mountainside activities throughout the year such as foliage tours, hiking, biking, fishing, and more.

As if these amenities weren’t enough, Club Med has also released some of the specifications for its all-inclusive packages. Similar to its other ski resorts, the resort is to include items like lift tickets and group lessons, children’s clubs, all-day gourmet dining and open bar, after-ski activities and entertainment, as well as free WiFi and gratuities.

Located just 45 minutes from the Québec Airport and situated between both the St-Lawrence river and the mountainside, this Club Med Canada resort provides its guests the opportunity to explore outside of the resort property.

There are a handful of well-loved restaurants in the ski area at different price points, access to the Charlevoix Train for a scenic ride, the Baie-Saint-Paul Museum of Contemporary Art, helicopter tours through Heli-Charlevoix, and a number of other outdoor excursions to consider depending on what time of year you visit.
