Flamingo Beach and Royal Palm Join Hilton Grand Vacations’ Portfolio

Following the August 2021 acquisition of Diamond Resorts, Hilton Grand Vacations has just hosted two ribbon-cutting ceremonies to celebrate the rebranding of two St. Maarten resorts, Flamingo Beach and Royal Palm. This exciting announcement has officially introduced Hilton Grand Vacations to St. Maarten with the company’s first properties on the island.

The Future of Hilton Grand Vacations

HGV is in its 30th year of business with no plans of slowing down. By the end of 2022, 20 Diamond Resort-affiliated properties will be rebranded under the HGV name, with Flamingo Beach Resort and Royal Palm Beach Resort being the 12th and 13th properties rebranded so far.

Additionally, HGV has introduced a variety of new programs like HGV Max which allows HGVC and Diamond members to transfer back and forth between the two clubs, and a premier events and privileges perk for owners called HGV Ultimate Access.

HGV Senior VP for Association Management Servies and Brand Operations Neil Hutchinson was excited to discuss these rebrandings and HGV’s future:

“I have to say, out of 74 Diamond Resorts I have visited, these two, Flamingo especially, are among the very best of what we will re-brand as HGV. We have a whole new chapter ahead of us. Together we are positioned to offer more options across more destinations with greater flexibility forever.”

About Flamingo Bay and Royal Palm

Flamingo Bay is a 240-suite property located in Simpson Bay. Accommodations include studio and one-bedroom suites that can sleep up to four guests. While studios offer kitchenettes, king beds, and walk-in showers, the one bedrooms provide amenities like full kitchens, separate living and dining areas, and a private patio or balcony.

On-site, guests can enjoy so much of what the island has to offer without ever leaving the property. Spend your days relaxing on the beach where you’ll find endless water sports, utilize the swimming pool or hot tub, get a workout in on the tennis court or the fitness center, eat at the on-site cafe or picnic/BBQ grilling area, and enjoy scheduled entertainment like live music.

Also located along Simpson Bay, Royal Palm is a great option for larger travel groups thanks to its one-, two-, and three-bedroom suite options. Sleeping four to eight guests, visitors will enjoy fully equipped kitchens, private balconies or patios, sleeper sofas, separate living and dining areas, and king beds. The multi-bedroom units also include two bathrooms.

Royal Palm has plenty to do on-site including access to the beach with all of your favorite water activities, a pool, a swim-up bar, a BBQ grilling area, and a well-equipped fitness center. Not to mention, the property is within walking distance to a variety of great restaurants, bars, and shops which are the perfect way to round off a relaxing island vacation.
