After temporarily closing due to the pandemic, Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach has finally reopened. This gorgeous beachfront resort, located in La Romana, Dominican Republic, has not only implemented new health and safety protocols, but it also features renovations to the guest rooms, lobby, and added amenities.

The resort first opened in 1987 as the brand’s first all-inclusive Caribbean resort. While the resort already boasted high-end amenities, they took advantage of their temporary closure to further enhance the property.

Guests will enter the resort and be wowed by the gorgeous, modernized lobby. The rooms have been updated to include colonial and modern decor with stunning ocean or garden views. Other resort amenities include four swimming pools, including a brand new saltwater infinity pool and two pools that have dedicated children’s areas.

There is also the new Latin Fusion restaurant with a-la-carte cuisine in an open-air ambience. Other existing restaurants, La Terraza buffet, Viva Mexico, and La Pizzeria all got a makeover with brand new decor for a fresh feel.
