Disney enthusiasts and Disney Vacation Club members, get excited! A new Disneyland Resort timeshare property is in the works. The plans have been submitted for a 350-unit timeshare resort that will sit next to the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California.
We don’t have many details at this time in regards to the construction costs or when this new resort may open. But we do know that this Disneyland Resort timeshare property will have 12 stories and 280,000-square feet.
Terri Schultz, senior vice president of Disney Vacation Club, commented on the upcoming new resort project:
“We look forward to working closely with the Disneyland Resort, the city of Anaheim and engaging our neighbors on this project, which would also create new jobs and spending in the community, as well as generate additional revenue for the city.”
This is not the first DVC resort in California. The Villas at Grand Californian Resort is located right by Disney California Adventure and has 71 timeshare villas. The resort also boasts a full-service spa, themed swimming pools, water slides, a kids club, and on-site dining.
