Sales to Begin in October for Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows

Popular timeshare vacation club, Disney Vacation Club is excited to announce that members and prospective members will have a chance to purchase at the all-new Island Tower starting in October. Current Disney Vacation Club members can purchase on October 1, 2024, while all others can purchase on October 29, 2024.

The Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows’ new Island Tower is located on the stunning shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon at Walt Disney World Resort. It is a 10-story tower composed of 268 rooms that offer a variety of accommodation options. It will officially open on December 17, 2024.

The new tower at Disney Polynesian Resort is inspired by the Disney film, “Moana” and the natural elements of water, earth, wind, and sky. These themes will be evident in the resort’s stunning story-theming and Polynesian spirit. The rooms will feature custom artwork and homey amenities for a relaxing family vacation experience. These units will also feature sustainable elements, including rugs made from recycled plastic bottles.

DVC Polynesian Island Tower Accommodations

The Island Tower will introduce a small number of an all-new type of accommodation: two-bedroom penthouse villas. These villas will comfortably sleep 8 and will offer:

• Full-size kitchen
• Living and dining areas
• Two private bedrooms
• Three full bathrooms
• Outdoor patio with views of the Magic Kingdom, lagoon, and nearby golf courses

The one- and two-bedroom villas in the Island Tower will provide more room for larger families, sleeping five and nine guests, respectively. These villas will feature:

• Beautiful water-themed artwork and decor
• Kitchen with full-size appliances
• Living area with pull-out queen-size bed
• Dining room
• Laundry machines
• Outdoor patio

The deluxe studios will feature elements that celebrate the lush flora and fauna of the Polynesian islands. These units will accommodation 4 guests, offering:

• Kitchenette
• Seating area
• Spa-like bathroom
• Two queen-size beds
• Outdoor patio

The duo studios are perfect for two guests and will have a wind and sky theme. These units provide a queen-size bed that tucks into the wall to reveal a sofa when not needed.

DVC Polynesian Amenities and Features

One of the best parts of staying at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is access to the monorail to ride to the Magic Kingdom and other nearby parks easily. Guests can also enjoy fantastic new amenities including a fitness center, tranquil terrace gardens, a tropical pool area, and a splash zone with a life-size statue of Moana and her iconic canoe.

The new Island Tower will also feature the Wailulu Bar & Grill. This casual dining venue will feature the delightful culinary flavors of the Polynesian Islands. Both indoor and outdoor seating will be available, offering guests stunning views of the Cinderella Castle. The restaurant will also boast the first all-electric kitchen on the Walt Disney World Resort property.
