Well…maybe not that far.

May the force be with you as you wait in exciting anticipation for the arrival of Star Wars Land! These 14-acre fantasy lands are in the works to be brought to life—but we don’t have a completion date just yet. Disney CEO Bob Iger announced the Star Wars expansion back in the month of August during the annual D23 expo. The parks will exist in both Disneyland in Anaheim, California and Disney World Orlando Florida, but neither have set opening dates.

These incredible new worlds will put visitors right in the center of the galaxy during the middle of the battle between the First Order and the Resistance, similar to the scenes in The Force Awakens. Each location will have two signature attractions: a ride that lets you take control of the iconic Millennium Falcon, and a Star Wars adventure that puts you in the midst of a climatic battle.

To make room for these fantastic attractions, certain areas of the park must close. Some temporary, and some for good. This month, as they begin developing the park in Disneyland in Anaheim, California they will be permanently closing:

• Big Thunder Ranch in Frontierland
• Big Thunder Ranch Barbecue
• Big Thunder Ranch Petting Zoo
• Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree

Temporary closures include:

• Fantasmic
• The Mark Twain Riverboat
• The sailing Ship Columbia
• The Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island
• The Disneyland Railroad
• The Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes
