The Villas at Disneyland Hotel Are Officially Open

Disneyland California has officially opened its doors to the first guests at its newest tower, the Villas at Disneyland Hotel. As an extension of the existing Disneyland Hotel, this 12-story building allows more Disney Vacation Club members and guests to stay at the iconic Anaheim property and enjoy everything that the parks and hotel have to offer.

This is the first DVC Disneyland property to open in California in over 10 years and brings the DVC property total to 16 around the world.

The tower’s decor and theme focus heavily on the history of Disney animation, from the mural in the lobby to the 344 rooms and suites. There are five room types available with each room type centered around a classic Disney story including “Fantasia,” “The Jungle Book,” “Sleeping Beauty,” and “The Princess and the Frog.”

Here are some of the room details:

• Duo Studio— Sleeps up to 2 guests. It features a queen Murphy-style bed, a sitting area that can be used when the Murphy bed is put away, a minibar, and a bathroom.
• Deluxe Studio— Sleeps up to 4 guests. It features a queen bed a queen Murphy-style bed, a kitchenette, a sitting area that can be used when the Murphy bed is put away, and a bathroom.
• One-Bedroom Villa— Sleeps up to 5 guests. It features a king master bedroom, a queen Murphy-style bed in the living area, a sitting area that can be used when the Murphy bed is put away, a twin-size pulldown bed, a dining area, a balcony, a bathroom, laundry machines, and a full kitchen.
• Two-Bedroom Villa— Sleeps up to 9 guests. It includes all of the same features as a one-bedroom villa, plus two queen beds in the second bedroom and a second bathroom.
• Three-Bedroom Grand Villa— Sleeps up to 12 guests. Includes all of the same features as the one-bedroom villa, plus four queen beds in the second and third bedrooms, a double-sided fireplace, and additional bathrooms.

Not only are these new accommodations meticulously decorated with beautiful finishes and artwork, but guests will also enjoy the many unique Disney features in each accommodation option, including the famous easter eggs that can be found across all Disney properties.

In addition to the new tower, the Disneyland Hotel has made other upgrades to the property recently, including an art pallet-shaped pool, an outdoor bar, an interactive play area, a fitness center, and a community hall.
