In an effort to expand their urban footprint, the WorldMark brand has been preparing for the opening of its newest property, WorldMark Portland — Waterfront Park. They have just recently began to accept owner reservations for as early as June 2019 and guests are excited about all that the six-story building will have to offer and where it’s located!
Situated in the Old Town District and next to the oldest existing building in the city, WorldMark Portland’s architecture and decor will reflect the style and era found throughout this area while working in modern concepts and ideas. The team at Wyndham worked closely with local firms to marry together their signature look with decor inspired by a 1920s image of the street the building is located to celebrate what once was and what the district is yet to be. Natural color palettes, vibrant accents, and exposed beams will help tie together the industrial and contemporary elements they are looking to include.
Though using many classic designs, WorldMark Portland will be anything but when it comes to their technology and energy savings. LED lights, occupancy sensors, tankless water heaters, and green roof landscape with grass and local flowers will ensure the facility reduces its footprint while also providing its guests with the best features. The building will also have an interior courtyard and outdoor lounge with grills with space for activities. Whether owners and guests are traveling with their family, with their significant other, or with friends, there is something available for everyone to enjoy.
75 condominium-style suites can hold anywhere from 1-6 guests depending on their size. Studios, one-, and two-bedroom suites will make up 59 of these units and the remaining 16 will be two-bedroom Presidential suites. Studios will have a queen-size murphy bed, which is great for those who want to maximize their space during their stay. All suites will feature full kitchens as well as living and dining areas with wood accents found throughout. Presidential suites will experience unit upgrades that include exposed wood beams, upgraded kitchen appliances, and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the nearby park, river, and the rest of the city.
Even with all of the amazing onsite spaces available to those who stay at the WorldMark Portland, it’s nothing compared to its location in this iconic Oregon city. Across the street from the Willamette River and Tom McCall Waterfront Park, guests will find there are always activities happening to learn about and try. Concert series, the Saturday Market, the annual Portland Rose Festival, the Blues Fest, and Oregon’s Brewers Festival are just a few of the many seasonal attractions that keep visitors coming back. For anyone who stays during one of the few times there aren’t local happenings on the green, they will be just a few minutes away from some of Portland’s most talked about restaurants and shopping areas, Pittock Mansion, Portland Japanese Garden, Oregon Zoo, nightlife, sporting events, and so much more. Those who stay here will get to experience Portland in the same way that locals have come to love and live in this dynamic city.
